Proposé par Faction pour la saison 2026, le Studio 2 constitue un ski freestyle unisexe aux capacités multiples, aussi à l’aise dans les snowparks que sur la neige fraîche. La série Studio a été développée spécifiquement pour la pratique du freestyle, tant sur modules artificiels qu’en terrain poudreux. Quatre modèles la composent, avec des patins oscillant entre 83 et 122 mm. Malgré cette diversité, une architecture identique sous-tend l’ensemble de la collection Studio.

La structure intègre ainsi un âme en peuplier : couplée aux renforts carbone, elle confère à la fois une masse réduite et une excellente atténuation des vibrations. La série Studio se distingue également par des rockers marqués, des spatules et talons robustes dotés d’une rigidité conséquente, ainsi que des indices de flex élevés. Il en résulte un équipement garantissant des réceptions optimales, une précision affirmée et un comportement irréprochable.

Conçu en s’inspirant des références les plus performantes du secteur, le Studio 2 vise à maximiser vos résultats lors des figures en park et des sorties freeride. Son patin de 102 mm le rend particulièrement adapté aux envolées de grande ampleur ! Ce modèle présente par ailleurs une symétrie des rockers entre avant et arrière, complétée par un profil en cambre classique.

Aux extrémités raidies et doté d’une solidité remarquable, le Studio 2 s’adresse aux pratiquants de freestyle et de freeride de niveau avancé à expert, désireux de réaliser des figures engagées aussi bien sur modules qu’en dehors des pistes balisées !

At Faction, three binding mounting options are available, from most forward to most rearward: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, bindings will be mounted according to the brand's recommendations, namely Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine; Newschool on Studio.

POPLAR CORE	Poplar is a soft, light-colored wood that is lightweight and durable, with good flex and pop, as well as excellent vibration absorption. When used alone, this wood provides pop, makes butters easy, and offers great landing stability—three essential attributes for a park ski, plus the torsional stability needed for solid edge grip on groomers.
XL 2.5 MM EDGES	The 2.5 mm edges are 35% thicker than standard 1.8 mm edges, which are already quite durable. The added steel helps riders enjoy a ski that will withstand the "abuse" associated with certain riding styles for longer.
ELLIPTICAL RADIUS SIDECUT	Elliptical radius sidecuts feature a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii at the tip and tail. The long radius underfoot allows for quicker, easier pivoting, while the shorter radii help initiate turns smoothly. This sidecut is perfectly suited to a wide variety of turn shapes and sizes.
SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION WITH ULTRA-STRONG SIDEWALLS	This construction features reinforcements along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the topsheet. This provides the best possible stability and edge hold when the ski is carving a turn, while also protecting the wood core, edges, and topsheet from impacts and external damage.
CHIP-RESISTANT MICRO-CAP	The micro cap is a hybrid construction that combines premium sandwich sidewall construction with a lightweight, durable cap construction. Thanks to the micro-cap, the sandwich construction delivers exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially wraps over the sidewall, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise chip from impacts.
BOAT FLEX	The generous rocker is complemented by stiffer, more rigid tails and tips to help stabilize the skis and propel them through variable snow. Additionally, the stiff tips absorb more vibration when skiers touch down after takeoff.
TITANIUM/RUBBER STOMP PAD	A titanium/rubber reinforcement underfoot, above the edge, adds durability where it matters most for freestyle performance skis. In addition to protecting the wood core from hard impacts on rails, the carbon and rubber insert adds stability and vibration absorption under your boots, making landings more comfortable for both you and your skis.
